New Book Release Party!

Hi everyone!

My new book, Of Fae and Fate, comes out in October! It’s a short story collection inspired by lesser-known fairy tales and folk tales. My story in the collection is based on an African legend about a young girl who creates the Milky Way.

Spiritual Summer Reading Challenge for Kids!

Several author/illustrator friends and I are hosting a spiritual summer reading challenge for kids this July! I hope you’ll join in the fun 🙂 #summerreadingtrek2019

Cedar Fort Author’s Summer Reading Challenge for Kids!

Make summer reading enjoyable and learn more about the gospel along the way!


Kids can read books or do challenges by LDS authors and have their parents enter it into a rafflecopter form (link below). Winners will be randomly selected for prizes. The challenge will run from July 1-31. Kids must be between the ages of 0-11. Parents/Guardians must enter the entries on behalf of kids. Entries can be done as a family (and not individually) if you have multiple kids that are eligible. (Most prizes are for US/CANADA only.)

Kids’ Easter Art Contest

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I love having a special time of year to celebrate Jesus Christ and all He’s done for us. With that in mind, I wanted to set up a special art contest for kids focusing on the true meaning of Easter: Jesus Christ’s atonement and resurrection. I’d love to have you join in!

Eligibility: Children ages 0-12 living anywhere in the world may participate with a parent or guardian’s permission

All participants will have their art displayed in a special gallery on this website.

Grand Prize: $25 gift certificate to Michael’s (*only available for participants in Canada and US)

Art Theme: All art should represent the theme “I Know Jesus Loves Me” and/or “The True Meaning of Easter”

Rules/Procedures:

-Send an email to sierra.wilson1@gmail.com with the subject “EASTER ART SUBMISSION.”

-Include a good quality image of your art

-Send your first name, age, country of residence, and the title of your artwork

-Include the following statement from a parent/guardian: I, _________, give my child, _________, permission to participate in the Kids’ Easter Art Contest and to have his/her artwork displayed on sierrawilsonauthor.com and associated social media along with his/her first name, age, and country of residence.

-Any submissions not following these rules/procedures may be rejected from the contest
